The Vegan Works is a non-judgy and informative personal blog dedicated to journaling my way through a vegan lifestyle.

Why This Site Exists

Honestly, I really just wanted a place I could document helpful and interesting things I find. Vegan related, of course.

I wanted a place I could easily refer back to, should I ever want to check back on something I researched and wrote about. After giving it some thought, a dedicated blog seemed like the right way to go.

Why Not Just Post Stuff on Social Media?

You see, doing something like this on a social media platform like Instagram or Facebook would be pretty difficult. There’s really no easy way to filter information and look things up on those platforms.

This was a problem for me and potentially for anyone who may want to look up something I wrote about.

So, theveganworks.com was created.

Where This Site Aims to Be

It’s still in it’s baby stages but I hope to grow this site into a collection of helpful information, from a personal and non-judgy perspective.

As a new(ish) vegan, I know there’s so much I get to learn about health, nutrition, and vegan-related current events. It’s something I nerd out about a lot so I’m excited to be able to have this site to chime into the conversations ahead.

Thank You for Your Support

If you’ve made it this far down my About page, thanks! It’s pretty flattering to have someone put time into reading what I write here. I know how busy life can get and there are probably a million other things you could be doing right now. So thanks for your time and attention.

As I continue to document all the neat things I learn along this lifestyle change, I hope you take something positive and useful from what you find here. That’d really make this whole blog project worth it. And if you do, I’d love it if you let me know!

You can find me on Instagram at @connor_ocampo, though I haven’t posted in a while due to a lengthy social media leave of absence. But, I’ll be back! Just not sure when yet.

In the meantime, I’ll be here updating as I go.
